3x1 | Joe Doucet
2018
In this collaboration between New York City-based 3x1 Denim and JDXP, the objective was to create a pair of blue jeans for the 21st-century lifestyle by adding small, hidden details to cater to this evolved way of living.
To communicate the jean’s design features, I created a series of hand-illustrated icons for the garment’s packaging tag and signage for the launch event held on-site for New York Design Week 2018. Along with the illustration creation, I headed material research, finding the special 3M reflective material and ceramic coating for the collection’s signature white rivet.
