Tablescapes for Cooper Hewitt
Cooper Hewitt with JDXP
To help forecast the future of dining, JDXP created a series of multipurpose cooking, serving and storage products for the home, avoiding waste in an increasingly overpopulated world. Partnering with Shapeways, these designs were imagined in 3D printed stainless steel and heat-safe glass. This collection was displayed at the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Museum for the Tablescapes Show in a collaboration with Mary Ping, fashion designer. See more at Dezeen and Fast Company.
I developed and modeled the final design, using an equation-based spiralized pattern to act as the vessel’s heat sink.
