New Museum with OTHR
To celebrate its 40th anniversary, New Museum approached OTHR to design and produce a special limited edition product to sell in their store. The Facade Box was inspired by the museum’s exterior of expanded metal and use of simple geometric shapes. The semi-transparent nature of the facade pattern creates a shadow-sprinkled area to store precious heirlooms. Crafted in 3D-printed blackened steel.
I developed and modeled the final design.
