Taking inspiration from the classic silhouettes of Retrofuturism and Raygun Gothic styles, these premium herb accessories add a sleek, streamlined elegance to the rolling trays, ashtrays, joint holders, storage containers, table lighters, smoking pipes, and smoking globes found in Flora Nero’s debut collection. Available in a variety of finishes, these pieces can serve as eye-catching table or shelf setpieces when not in use. Engineered from anodized aluminum (Neal Feay), hand-blown glass (KEEP Brooklyn), and natural burl wood veneers (Eurogroup Belcaire), the Other_Worldly collection elevates the herb smoking experience to new heights.
I collaborated with Flora Nero’s creative director, Marc Thorpe, for this collection, first developing the form language with pen and paper. I then created models of the entire collection in SolidWorks to be sent to Neal Feay for machining, texturing, and anodizing.
